The Ice Orb is a magic orb which throws out projectiles that travel forward only a very short distance before falling; when they hit the ground, they turn into icicles. This projectile behavior makes the Ice Orb particularly unwieldy, although it may be worth learning to use anyway because the ice element is one that many enemies are weak to.
The Ice Orb can be found in the Lake Serene area, accessed from the underwater segment; the room it's in is the one that, in the future, contains the 
Timespinner Wheel.
